Or, do you think I have too many connectors going on? Perhaps I need the DVI cable to plug into the monitor, then to the DVI to mini displayport, then to the video card? Or, is this card even capable of dual monitors? I tried this configuration with both monitors and neither would register. Since the new LG monitor came with VGA to VGA cable, I connected it to a VGA to DVI cable, then connected it to a DVI to mini displayport cable, then to the video card. The card seems to not respond to anything that goes into the mini displayport. The problem seems to be dust, I keep a can of air handy and when the inevitable shutdown occurs - a squirt cleans the card to allow a few more months of service. I know there are other graphics cards available (for twice the cost) but the GT120 has been ok. I recently purchased another LCD monitor by LG because I read that this video card could handle two monitors for dual display. My 2008 Mac Pro eats these things every 2 to 3 years. It has one DVI port, and one mini dipslayport. APPLE 661-5008 NVIDIA GEFORCE GT 120 512MB GDDR3 PCI-E VIDEO CARD FOR MAC PRO. I am on an early 2009 Mac Pro and it runs a NVIDIA GeForce GT 120 card. ![]()
